Rose

Rose was born in Pembridge in 1938 She had to cope with the loss of her father at a young age. She went to work at the packing factory in Tenbury Wells, where she met Charlie and they married in 1950. Sue was born in 1965 and Jane 4 years later. They lived in Knighton on Teme, and every Saturday she went Hunting with the Ludlow Hunt. She later moved to Tenbury to be closer to the grandchildren, and was looking after them whenever needed. She underwent a traumatic experience, when Charlie was admitted to Intensive care in 2007 where she visited him almost daily. Charlie was diagnosed with COPD which affects the breathing on the lungs. But sadly in 2009 she was diagnosed with breast cancer where she had to undergo both Radio and Chemotherapy. Rose was the strongest person and no - matter the pain she never moaned. Then on Sunday the 27th November she asked to see the family for the final goodbyes, she had suffered enough, but never gave in, she is only having a rest. She passed away on the 29th November peacefully at home surrounded by family. All the people that knew her were devastated. Charlie was determined to attend the funeral despite the trouble of breathing he had. However shortly after christmas Charlie went to Hospital due to the lack of sleep and stress he was undergoing. On the 21st of January he deteriorated and passed away at 4:05pm. Once again the family were distraught. However despite having both my Gran and Grandad taken from me in a small bit of time, they will never take away the things that I hold most dear. The memories that I had with them both. They will always be loved and missed by many people.
